Any idea’s on making money on ebay?

I have been selling clothes and small things from around the house but would love to get something going that generates a little more cash flow. Not talking LOTS of money. Just a little extra every month would be nice. Willing to invest a little money but no idea’s on what would be a “great seller”. Any help would be appreciated. Also, where does everyone get all the “closeouts” and “liquidations”? Connections maybe?

I recently recived five thousand dallors for college from a rich uncle and I dont really want to let it sit. I go to a university and have plenty of time on my hands. I want to start doin the whole ebay thing because i think i have enough capital to start. I was wondering if anyone had any good ebay ideas, what are good products and busniess ideas that tend to sell well.

eBay money making ideas??

So I’ve been wanting to try to get into homemade custom projects that could maybe sell on eBay. My first idea was to make custom dog tags because if you get a good price on the materials, they are super easy to make those and custom ones sell for a decent price I’ve seen. The only problem with that is that I would need a machine called an addressograph to make them and there is no local place I know of to buy one, and the cheapest ones online sell for $800…it would take 3-6 months and a lot of time and supplies just to break even….and I don’t have that much money to invest. So my next thought was makibg custom guitar picks. You can obtain cheap black picks in bulk no problem but the only problem is I have no idea how to put custom graphics that won’t wear off and no clue what equipment can do that cost effectively…what I was thinking now is custom graphic stencils on certain items. I’ve seen things like cheap $4 flasks that are custom painted using stencils with different images or designs that would take about half an hour each to make and sell for $18-$20 plus hopping costs! My wife manages a ink refill shop and she knows everything about printing and can make stencils and I know a supplier that sells different types of spray materials like krylon that go on different types of materials flawlessly like metal, plastic, gel, etc…so would this be a good idea? I so what materials or everyday things could I transform into collectables that are sold locally and in bulk I can customize to sell? Thanks.

Yes selling stuff on eBay is a great idea. I wanted to get new clothes so, I sold my old ones. I made probably almost $200 just on selling lots of name brand clothing. It is easy and you can set up a pay pal account for free and the money goes right into your account. You have to make sure that you specify specifics for example, need to pay within three days of sale ending and so forth because some people can take advantage, but it is great!

EBAY NICHE? Any Ideas?

Im thinking about earning a bit of money from Ebay and i was wondering what good niches there are ATM. I dont want to risk buying a niche guide and would appreciate it if anyone could give some good advice.

Harry, its not world of warcraft lol, you cant just jog along to the AH and sell stuff… Plus ur too young to use Ebay or Paypal (no one buys without pay pal these days) so it doesn’t matter 😀 eheh
