If the grass is growing where you live, mow lawns, or plant flowers.

If it is spring cleaning time, clean windows.

Sweep driveways. Paint houses, fences, dog houses, etc.

Expect to make about $10 per hour. Do any other chores people hate for an agreed upon price (never say you’ll work for $10/hr) based on your estimate of how long it will take. People will agree faster to a set price and as you get experience you will make better estimates.

As far as buying a laptop, shop the sales on newegg.com or similar sites. They will be a far better value than used. People tend to think that thier slow dirty laptop should cost you as much as it cost them, despite it being very much out of date.

OMG, im going through the same exact thing and it sucks! My birthday is a month away and I haven’t started planning my quince because my parents say we can’t afford it. I dont care if I dont have my quinceanera on my birthday or that month, as long as it is this year :c
But I heard getting sponsors for things is a big help.
You can have sponsors for everything, for example;
a relative can buy the dress
Another can pay for the limo
A close friend can buy the cake
An uncle can get the DJ & So on..
Try to find a hall with affordable packages or limit your guest list to find a small cheap place!

Well firstly let’s do some maths. When will you need the £800? It’d take 14 months to save it if you don’t spend the £60 at all. Make a budget plan and take into account what you need to do with the money. Also I’m guessing your quite young (as in under 17) so why not talk with your parents about how you can sort out a saving agreement with them. Maybe if you help around the house you could get a little bit more? Or even take a second job and then put all the money into a savings account with good interest. Loans, Overdrafts and Credit Cards may be available but must be paid off subject to the relevant contract you enter into. The safest way is to find work and work hard.
