What is the best way of earning money working from home through the internet for non-USA citizens?

I found a website which hires people through the internet and pay them to be guides in the net. The problem is that it is based on the USA and in order to get the job you must be a USA resident. I think it must be there a site which is international and offers the same thing, no matter where you are and what is your citizenship, but where? I couldn’t find. Thank you for your answers.

The sad truth is that there are probably no online opportunities that can make you any kind of steady or substantial income.

Perhaps some survey sites will let you earn points that you can trade in for a pair of headphones, or a bag for your digital camera.
