Well, there’s somewhat of a professional aspect to these, but stock photo websites allow you to upload your pictures and then each time they sell you get $0.25 or so(don’t worry they can sell multiple times forever and it adds up). The hard part of this is getting the images accepted in the first place. Most agencies want at least 4 megapixel images and they must be completely free of noise and other common problems. A lot of point and shoot cameras aren’t necessarily the best cameras for this kind of thing, and it is more geared toward the DSLR crowd, but that isn’t to say that it’s impossible with a normal camera either, but definitely not a cell phone camera 🙂 . Saving money:
Saving money is something you should do your entire life. Save a portion of every dollar you earn. If you ever spend money from your savings account then you should strive to replace it as quickly as possible. Your savings will just grow and grow.

Initially, you can deposit your savings into a bank savings account. The interest rate is not very important early on. However, once you have saved $1000 you can purchase US treasury bills at www.treasurydirect.gov to earn more interest.

Making money:
You should not expect your parents to pay you for helping around the house. That is something you should be doing anyway.

Jobs you can do for neighbors: Mowing lawns, walking pets, washing cars, and babysitting (if you are a responsible kid).

You may find it difficult to get a job at 13 because most jobs require you have skills. It does not hurt to ask. Try jobs that do not require a college education, such as fast food, grocery stores, shops, etc.

If you are adventurous, you can try running your own internet business by buying things at garage sales and selling them online at www.ebay.com. Research what things are selling for on ebay before purchasing. (Also, avoid buying stuff on ebay or you will spend more than you make.) I suggest you specialize in a few items: specific toys, books, etc. You are going to become an expect so pick a category that you really enjoy. (When you see a bargain you will know it!) 1) Pick 10 items you want to specialize in.
Like codestones, bottled faeries, map pc’s, neggs, etc….

2) Go to the wiz, find the lowest price they are selling for. Record this.
This will be the price you will sell the items for in your shop.

3) Go to the trading post and bid 500 nps less than the price you will sell the item for in your
shop. If someone has not accepted your offer within 15 minutes, take it down and bid on another.

I called many stores because I am 14 looking for a job. This was the response they gave which makes me happy after looking for so long.

Find a local one go online and apply and go in store to apply or call and ask if they are hiring.

What I did was Google a bunch of business near my home and found their numbers using Google maps or their sites and I called and directly asked if they are hiring and what age do they hire at.

Try local grocery stores, pizza parlors, retail stores, fast food restaurants.

Well good job for being a teenager that’s able to type in coherent sentences – that seems to be a rare breed around here..

First of all you need to book a consultation with a surgeon, and once you’ve decided what you’d like to get done you can find out how much it would cost. If it’s very expensive it will require more time to save up for, obviously. You could probably afford it in as little as four years – maybe on your 21st birthday?

I’m slightly worried because you seem to be shaping your whole life around having the perfect looks, which really isn’t going to make you very happy in the end. And getting surgery is a slippery slope, it can get very addictive so try to stop at just one or two procedures, or you’ll end up looking like a plastic doll.

Start your own blog.

Can you get a local job, even part-time. I’m happy you WANT to work. Good for you. Is there a staffing company in town? Apply everywhere. Check your state’s unemployment office. What I did in High School when I needed some extra cash was sell candy. Go to Costco or some really cheap place and buy some candy, then sell it for more than you bought it for. I used to buy packs of candy and it would average .25 cents a piece. Then I would sell it for a dollar. You really do make more money than you think.

Put up fliers asking if anyone is looking for a babysitter. Easy way to earn cash

See if anyone needs their dogs walked, or their house cleaned. Tell your mom that you’re looking for some extra chores to get extra cash. See if she has any friends that need anything done around their house.
