I’ve been heavily involved with nonprofit fund raising for years….so here are some ideas I have that could be relatively low in cost for your trip…

1) Consider an e-mail campaign – depending on how many email addresses you have, you never know how many people might respond to your cause and just write you a check! This works amazingly well for several organizations that are short on time AND resources. (There are definitely great formats for nice ways of asking…I’ve included a link below…)

2) Instead of having a garage sale at your home, try having a “garage” sale on eBay! Think of it as a virtual way to get rid of some stuff AND make a little more money…(make sure you include the cost of shipping those items online or else you’ll end up losing money!).

3) If you or your parents are involved in some kind of community (such as your school, your church, etc) think of making an announcement at church, or posting bulletins at school. You could always sell baked goods at school or church or even start up a recycling campaign! The only problem with bake sales is that it does cause you to incur quite a bit of cost for what people are willing to pay for brownies…its better to start off asking your community for donations, and then go from there.

Unless you have very specific skills, such as graphic design, web design, computer programming or sell on eBay, Amazon or Etsy, there are no real internet work at home jobs. On line jobs are just another urban myth. You will just be bombarded with all kinds of work at home scams such as data conversion, envelope stuffing, data entry, captcha entry, document coding, home assembly, medical transcription, reading e mails, surveys, etc.

There are no cheats for millsbery. The developers were very careful to ensure that there are no cheats in the system.

However, if you don’t like playing games there are a few other ways to make money:

1. Always check out the coach danner link on the millsberry main page (make sure you are logged in when you do it). It will link you to another millsberry recommended site like kidkinetic.com and will give you MB just for visiting the site. The current link is not working but if you wait until Thursday it usually changes. Often it’s 1000 MB just for visiting the linked site.

2. Open a bank account. Even if you don’t have much money open a bank account and put your money in it. You will earn interest on your money every day. As you collect the interest your bank account balance will grow and as you deposit more money you get more interest.

3. Have a Yard Sale. If you shop at yard sales yourself buy all the bargains that you see (for example if you find someone selling leaf layered skirt for 10 MB buy it!). Then re-sell your bargains for slightly higher prices (like selling your 10 MB skirt for 15). You should be able to sell things fairly quickly if you keep your prices low and even if you’re not making huge profits on each item doing a lot of volume sales can get you lots of money quickly.

You should be aware, though, that playing games gains you more than just millsbucks. Often there are special events (like white elephant gift exchange at Christmas 2005) that require high statistics in intelligence, civics or athletics. Those statistics are raised by playing games.

As for getting the code for the grabbing machine – it can be found on any box of the appropriate cereal but it’s considered a cheat to give it out online.
