What are some unique ways for teenagers to make money?

I know, I know.
Get a job.

Unfortunately, I’m signed up for too many extracurriculars to have a steady job.
And I’m a big believer in sticking to previous commitments.
So I’m searching for a different way to make money.

I’m considering selling some of my old stuff on eBay.
But other than that I don’t really have any solid ideas.
I was considering looking into possibly doing some freelance writing,
but I’m not sure if that’s, um, a reliable way to earn money.
Does anyone have any other suggestions?

The way i make money is by babysitting. I charge 5 bucks and hour and still rake on at least 50-80 a week. Its not hard and really fun

I have been saving money to get a new surfboard for a while, but it is taking a while to do. I need to have enough money by spring break. Any ideas?

So far this is what I have been doing:
Household chores for weekly alllowance,
yard sales
if i get straight a’s i get 40 dollars
anything else that would help?

I am not old enough to get a job, and I am not really aloud to babysit. I really want some money, so can someone give me a good idea of something I could do?

Odd jobs, errands and chores did it for me when I was your age…

I don’t want any online surveys or anything..I live out in the country so I dont really have any neighbors..I would really like to save up for a laptop..any ideas?!

Hi, don’t know how young you are, but my teen is 15 and I’m helping her to get her babysitting course, first aid and cpr for infants, toddlers and children. Which is about a couple hours course for about 150. Dollars through the American Red Cross programs. Then she can advertise to babysit at peoples homes for an amount a hour and by being certified she would definitely have some customers.

OK here’s a fairly easy way to make a lot of money cash daily !

SCRAP metal recycling !

IF you can find or have some kind of cart to push around it’s easier to do this !

Aluminun cans are up to .64 cents per lb plus the pull tabs on steel cans are aluminum squash them down so you fit more per lb in latrge trash bag

reg aluminium like your storm doors aluminum siding lawn chairs and old tv antennas 0.57 lb

Copper wire cleaned $3.06 lb and any Copper pipes

insulated $1.18 lb

dosent pay to remove insulation on thin braided wire no weight to it at all

ALSO No Coaxial Cable wire they only pay 10 cents per lb for it because there is more insulation on it than copper !

Brass as in door knobs , locks , plumbing fixtures $2.10 a lb lots of wall clocks have brass parts and trim

carry a magnet with you at all times some things look like brass and are not !

Iron steel dont bother with it not even chrome plated kitchen ware it’s only .09 cents lb

IF ya really good and find a junk car with the catlytic converter still attached to exhast system on outside of it is PLATINUM shiled about four tiny bolts hold in place

also inside the converter is platinum and it’s worth more than gold today at $1200.00

an ounce !

THIS is what i do for past two years while also working internet biz cause that money from internet only comes once per month !

Average about $50 per day !

SO look up your yellow pages for nearest scrap metal and iron yard take all your metal to them and get paid !

I’m sure someone will drive you there !
