Ebay buddy……. Cruise Ebay and you will see many sellers with a feedback score of over 1-2,000 and most of that feedback they accumulated in less than a year, or even less than 6 months.

The only hard part is finding something to sell to make profit off of without going in the red. No one said it would be easy but yes, it is possible. Just please dont get dragged into these stupid commercials on tv for money making ventures from home like www.43income.com or whatever those multiple sites are called, they are fake and will take you for all your worth. Best case scenario, think of something yourself, and you will become rich. Worst case scenario, you sell a bit here and there to make some extra cash but never really get off the ground to support yourself without a traditional job.

I sell on Ebay constantly, i sell maybe 6-7 items a week at best, and im no where near able to support myself with it, so it’s hard, but if your really gung hoe about it, youll find something.

One of my college professors was talking about a friend of his one time that spends about 5 hours a day on the internet doing nothing but those free deals like junk e-mail you get “Get a free laptop… On us!” or “Free PSP!!” where you spend maybe 50-60 bucks on promotional trial offers and get a $250 PSP for doing that. You sell the PSP online and make a 180-200 profit after it’s all said and done. My professors friend does this 7 days a week from home, gets free gas cards by the thousands and other products and sells them on ebay. He clears about 40,000 a year NET pay and is putting his gf through college, and thats all he does. If you choose to try this however, be careful, scams are out there as well…. Read the fine print for these offers….. Make sure they dont ask for more info than they need, and most importantly, dont over do it. Start slow at first and after you get the hang of it more and more, you could be making up to 2,500-3,000 a month. I dont have the patience or the desire to really do that thopugh so not my cup of tea, but if you want it bad enough like my teachers friend, it can be done. Im perfectly happy with graduating and becoming a computer technician in 2007, so i have no real desire to do that. Not at this point in my life anyway.

Well, yes and no. Yes, you can make money…no, probably not as much money as you need. I usually make around $20 a month taking surveys (another $20-30 referring people from my website). I’m signed up with more than 10 sites, and take all the surveys I qualify for (and that work with my browser–I think I loose about $5-10 a month from surveys I could have taken if I had Internet Explorer). That’s only for a few hours work, which isn’t bad, but it sounds like you need more money than that.

Anyways, I’ve listed some of the sites I have taken surveys through and actually been paid (or received other rewards like gift cards or CD’S) on the following site if you are interested.

I list how they pay you, what I like and dislike about them, whether they have an affiliate or referral program, etc. (And yes, if I say they have an affiliate program, I’m part of it, and make a commission when someone signs up through that link…I like to be up front about that).

As you’re searching, here are some tips to avoid scams. Don’t sign up for any survey site which asks you to pay to access the surveys. Also watch for language like “get paid for taking surveys AND SIGNING UP FOR OFFERS” if you don’t want to have to sign up for stuff with other companies to get paid.

Always carefully read their terms of service and privacy policy. If in their privacy policy they say they only use aggregated info, this is GOOD SIGN they are legit. Aggregated info information that is grouped together so it can’t be connected with anyones personal identification like name, e-mail, phone or address. That’s what survey sites SHOULD collect. Avoid sites that say they give, rent, or sell any personal information (info that is not aggregated) to third parties (unless you really don’t mind getting junk mail, telemarketing calls, and spam).

Also, never sign up for a survey through an unsolicited e-mail–since these might not even be from the site they claim to be, but could be a phishing scheme to get your information and mis-use it.

I recommend a two-tier approach. First, become an affiliate for products you believe in; that are in a small enough niche for people to google them easily; and products that offer either a high % split or a monthly recurring split on the income you earn from affiliate sales.

Secondly, develop your own product. You can make a video as easily as creating a powerpoint slide show; recording an MP3 video; and then if you have XP you can create videos yourself on windows. Create videos, audios and workbook products on how to make money online, or whatever topic you feel strongly about (how to become a golfing sensation, etc.) and sell your own product through affiliates.

Have you looked into setting up your own website or blog? It may be more work in the beginning but once you get used to it, it will probably only take you a few hours a week you can make money through others advertising on your site, affiliate programs, your own products, etc. You can outsource alot of the work too if you want to free up more time and for less than $100 site maintainance you could make alot of money.

That is tricky to answer – apart from being a student, I have no idea what skills that you have. If you have some skills then you can target a company online that might require outsourcing (such as computer programming).

What you normally can’t do is to make much money for the effort you put in in unskilled internet work (such as perhaps stuffing envelopes, or taking surveys). The reason that the companies want internet based employees is that they can pay well below the minimum wage for the hours that they put in. OK it is possible to stuff 500 envelopes in an hour to get your minimum wage but it is unlikely.

So basically look at the skills you have and decide which companies are likely to require them

I am a wealthy affiliate and I can say that it is a great resource. They have some really great tools that help you understand the ins and outs of internet marketing. Some great free tools to get you up and running in literally 5 minutes. Kyle and Carson are very active and involved in the internet marketing scene and also are mostly focused on helping others to replicate what they have done. I’ve only been there a little while, but the depth and wealth of knowledge shared by members is outstanding. It is well worth it in my opinion. To be clear, it really isn’t a biz op in and of itself. The average mutual fund has averaged 12% rate of return ove the last 60 years or so. That means your money doubles every 6 years. My son is 14 he has 5K in his mutual funds of his own money. Here is the info on the survey sites I use your certainly not going to get rich doing them, but if I am messing around on the internet I will do them in my free time. Do not give anyone your SSN there are lots of sites out there that are legit and they do not need this info from you. Nor do you have to pay to join.

My favorite is Pinecone Research. You have to have an invitation to join though. So look around for some on the internet and you’ll find one usually. They send one or two surveys a month. All surveys are pretty short and at least $3 each. They are great though cause you will have a few days or a week to answer the survey if you don’t check your email religiously. Then they send a check in the mail pronto or you can choose to have it put in a paypal account.

Survey savvy has a great referral program if you know people who will join you get money for surveys they complete also. Once you decide to get your payout you just request it and you get a check in the mail in a few weeks.

I have also tried American Consumer Opinion. They pay by check in mail for each survey completed (the ones I did were $4-5 each, but I have not been able to complete many of their surveys (very few).

Surveyspot has tons of surveys most of which you only get an entry into a drawing (which I have never won). However they do have many paid surveys also. You can just go to their site everyday and answer surveys you don’t have to wait for them to be emailed to you (they are also emailed to you). They do some previewing of tv commercials and tv shows. I have done a couple tv shows which involved watching an hour long program (45 minutes without commercials) and answering some questions about it – with payment of $20 so that was nice.

Finally I think the first one I joined was Lightspeed. I liked it at first they sent a lot of surveys and I qualified for a lot of them. Now there surveys seem longer and they give less points for them. You get points you can redeem for gift cards to different places or for paypal $$. I have gotten a couple invitations for an extended survey worth $50 each so I have stuck with them.

Most pay a few dollars per survey completed so it is best to use several. You also need to be a regular email checker because if you don’t respond to the survey fast enough they have met their quota.

You are in luck, I take paid surveys everyday and have become very good at it, so I can speak for myself when I say it has been very rewarding, and I say you are in luck because, I have done a ton of research on market research companies, I searched each one individually before joining, it was very time consuming but worth the time spent. Can you get something online that doesn’t require *any* money out of pocket? Probably, but there’s a good chance that it’s not going to be anything that will make you a livable income (surveys, etc).

There are legit programs out there, but most will require at least a minimal investment.

Any type of program that promotes itself as a *job* and charges you to get involved is a scam, hands down. A program that promotes itself as your own business and has an associated investment is not necessarily a scam. Nobody in their right mind would think they could open a restaurant with no investment so why is any business that requires an investment online assumed to be a scam?

Just like anything else, go in with your eyes open. Do your research…

The rule, as always, is to stay away from those that ask you to pay before you can get these surveys.

For the online surveys for example, legitimate market survey companies such as Pinecone Research recruit members based on demographic characteristics — e.g. Mothers of babies 0-12 years old — and will send surveys of products and services targeting this demographic group. Pinecone Research, however, pays only $5 per survey — you’re definitely not going to be rich with that. They can give you anywhere from 1-5 at most surveys in a month.

Other companies simply ask you to answer as many research as possible, and you don’t earn anything just the chance to win at a raffle (which I find lame).

First of all, few years ago British Government used to offer all services for free & all the salaries were paid from the Treasury. This practice has been changed now, they decided to charge people for the services they offer, and all the cost is covered from the money they are charging.

The HSMP scheme was distributed among two departments fee was charged separately (£400 for HSMP + 200 for visa). The procedure is now combined into Tier 1 & the fee has been combined too. This has facilitate the procedure both for the dealing departments as well as applicant. Its now single application & even though the point system is bit enhanced comparing HSMP as far as qualification criteria is concerned.

Yet I liked that HSMP has been changed to Tier1 to avoid fradulent applications giving more powers to Embassies in the related country to make their checks since HSMP was abused in past. Plus they added to bring funds £2800 this step is another good step to make sure that anyone who is entering UK is able to at least support him/herself during job hunt.

Well if this is now the case – as your question suggest …I then ask if the money is being sent abroad for families etc., are they cross checking to see that it has been declared and earned legally. Far too much money is being allowed to leave our country playing a big cost to our economy as is also jobs that are being posted abroad – whilst there are perfectly good people here to do such jobs. Make this point to your MP as many as possible is the only way to stem such a profiteering racket.

The human progress in education, technology, medical discoveries, engineering or travel to space has it’s seeds planted, to be firstly having vision and a goal without it anything would never happen.

What is a goal?
Goal is an objective, a purpose, aim, point or endeavor. The goal has to be set in understandable and achievable time. Action taken to bring the dream into being is part of system in thinking and process. The goal has first be established and acted upon. Without goals millions of people wonder through life without even realizing that they don’t have any goals to aspire to and still wonder why an earth they are poor. Food is one of many essential mineral or a fuel of life’s goal setting is important on equal terms.

Individual need to focus on where they want to be in five years time that in it self will stimulate goal setting as it is possible their situation will improve in five years time. A psychological barrier needs to be overcome with possible gain in future. There isn’t any point looking back to our past pains, because that is something we all want to escape especially if that past has not brought us any success.

Like any large corporation needs to have a plan and plan ahead, by setting up objectives or a goal. Those large corporations plan well ahead with their objectives, fro 5, 10, 15 years. They visualize the future in clear precise manner.

It is quite amazing the more successful a person is the easier it is for them to work on regular basis for more then 40 hours per week. The successful person has the energy fueled by the goal. The bigger the goal in the eyes, the more they see, and more energy one has. The point is this; the energy increase, multiplies when goal is set and work toward the goal. It is quite amazing the goal entrenched deep in your mind you will receive to energy to drive toward your accomplishment.

If however you wish to create an income from home, then a home based business is ideal. The biggest advantages are working hours that you can set to suit yourself, the opportunity to leverage time through the efforts of others, and significant tax advantages.

There are hundreds of possible businesses, but a business requires some capital to start up so I would recommend looking for one that requires less than $500 to start, but remember it is your business and it will only be successful if you are prepared to put some amount of continuous effort into it. I like your attitude – it’s a good foundation to start your own business. You’re right, there are too many scams out there, and I like that you’re not up to become one of them. On the other hand, working on the internet is great when having children. It’s the perfect venture to work around their needs and times.

What to do I can’t and don’t want to tell you, because if you want to be successful long-term it should really be “yours”, and nobody can tell you what that could be. You have to feel it in your heart.

However, there are a few things to consider:
– Be aware that it may take months or even years until you will be able to make a living (the time frame is dependent on so many different things, mainly on you). Therefore you will need patience and enough money for the time before.
– Yes, the internet is overcrowded, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t find your niche. But you want to choose wisely, otherwise you can waste a lot of time, energy and money.
– My personal experience and my experience in my work as a business coach is that it’s easier to find the perfect niche when you know your personal purpose. When you can build a business that is aligned with your purpose you will not have much competition (if at all).
– If you already know your purpose, and if you’re a fast learner and talented marketer you can start building your internet business fast and start making money within a few months. If this is completely new for you, that means that you have a long learning curve, I would recommend to find a part-time job while building your online business. The reason is that it’s never good to come from a point of desperation, and those business owners tend to fail almost always.

Its a great site so far and depending on how you work it you can make decent money now or great money later, whichever you need at the moment.

If its not illegal then it should be! But shit 1000 is not going to make up for the 18 years of child support cheques per child, which would be roughly around 200+ per child per month for 18 years…… So when you think about it, thats pretty dumb idea really.

First of all, pyramid schemes are illegal so these companies wouldn’t be in business if they were doing a pyramid scheme.
The dollar amounts that some of them claim can be had are best case sinarios. However, they are legit and can make you money. The catch is that you have to at least have average intelligence and do lots and lots of homework. You have to be willing to make a few mistakes before you get it right.
